Processing fees
We can't absorb the fees payment providers charge, but we can be upfront about them. No hidden extras, no nasty surprises.

Pro and legacy accounts
On Pro, and on accounts created before April 2026, we don't add anything on top of your processing fees. You pay Stripe, GoCardless or Mollie their own rates directly, and we only charge the flat per-transaction and/or monthly fee in your agreement.
As a rough guide (check each provider for current rates):
- Stripe: about 1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards.
- GoCardless: about 1% + 20p for UK Direct Debit.
Starter accounts
Starter accounts take payments through Stripe or Mollie. GoCardless is only available on Pro. Your total fee combines our platform fee with the payment provider's processing fee. The rates below are total end rates: they already include the platform fee, the processing fee and UK VAT where it applies.

EUR rates apply to cards from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

For Euro connected accounts in Mollie, our fee is a flat 3% above Mollie's standard rate.
Notes
- UK VAT: as a UK-registered business we charge 20% VAT on our platform fee for UK merchants, so UK rates include VAT. EU rates don't attract UK VAT.
- Recurring payments on Stripe cost an extra 0.7%, passed through at cost. It covers Stripe Billing, which handles card updates, failed-payment retries and dunning.
- Other payment types not listed here may be available at different rates. Fees are subject to change, so contact your payment provider for exact costs.
